Full website scope & growth plan

Turn every finished floor into the next good job.

Prepared for Sean Jensen. The first deliverable is a better website. The larger system fixes discoverability, captures jobsite proof, requests reviews neutrally, and follows up on missed opportunities—without adding payment features.

Public footprint audit

The work is credible. The internet footprint is not carrying it yet.

This was a signed-out, read-only review of the public website, search results, Maps search surfaces, and exact social-profile candidates. No accounts were changed and no one was contacted.

Website trust leaks

The live WordPress site contains visible contradictions and default content that can weaken customer confidence and search quality.

  • The site publishes Huntington Beach with ZIP 92548; that location string needs owner confirmation before launch.
  • The About page shows a template phone number, (714) 555-1234, and a different email, while the rest of the site uses (657) 540-7576 and info@surfcityepoxy.com.
  • The sitemap exposes Sample Page and Hello world!, including the default WordPress comment.
  • Visible Facebook and Instagram icons link to #, not real profiles.

Thin search signals

An exact-name search finds the official site and Instagram, but the wider citation footprint is sparse.

  • Search results are dominated by the official .com, its internal pages, Instagram, and a duplicate .net “Launching Soon” site.
  • The public pages have canonicals, but no useful meta descriptions, social preview metadata, or LocalBusiness structured data was found.
  • Source images are published without alt text, leaving accessibility and image-search value unused.
  • Non-brand visibility cannot be honestly measured without Search Console and Google Business Profile performance data.

Google profile unresolved

Exact signed-out Maps searches by brand name, public phone, and domain did not resolve a stable Surf City Epoxy business entity during this audit.

  • That does not prove the profile is absent; it may be weakly indexed, recently created, hidden by service-area settings, or require the direct profile URL.
  • A current rating, review count, category, ownership state, hours, and photo count could not be verified responsibly.
  • Onboarding should begin with Sean sharing the direct Google profile link and confirming manager access—not with guessing or creating a duplicate.

Social proof is underused

Instagram is the only exact public social profile verified in search. It is useful proof, but not yet a complete distribution system.

  • @surfcityepoxy was indexed with Sean Jensen’s name, 9 posts, 134 followers, and a bio covering floors, countertops, and custom tables.
  • No exact Surf City Epoxy Facebook Page or LinkedIn Company Page was verified publicly.
  • The live site’s testimonial page contains recent-project images but no readable testimonial; the homepage publishes one customer quote from Mario N.
  • Before using job photos in campaigns, Sean should confirm customer/project media rights.
Evidence boundary: Website facts came directly from surfcityepoxy.com, its July 22, 2026 sitemap/pages, and source-owned media. Instagram figures came from the indexed profile snippet retrieved July 22, 2026 and can change. Maps was checked signed out; profile data remains unresolved until Sean supplies the direct listing.

90-day operating plan

Website first. Then reputation and response.

The sequence protects the foot-in-the-door deliverable. Telecom and CRM do not delay the website.

Days 0–30

Fix the front door

  • Confirm business name, service area, phone, email, and address-display policy with Sean.
  • Launch the responsive website using the approved logo and project media.
  • Remove default pages, broken social links, duplicate contact details, and stale routes.
  • Add page titles, descriptions, social cards, image text alternatives, LocalBusiness schema, sitemap, and redirects.
  • Connect Search Console and the verified Google profile; record the baseline before making ranking claims.
Days 31–60

Build the proof loop

  • Capture before, process, and after photos inside each CRM job record.
  • Ask every eligible completed customer for honest feedback—without review gating or “five-star” language.
  • Publish up to two approved project stories each month when eligible work is available.
  • Add fresh approved photos to Google and Instagram on a predictable cadence.
  • Respond to every new public review with an owner-approved voice.
Days 61–90

Recover missed opportunities

  • Complete A2P registration and consent language before automated texting.
  • Route missed calls to an AI receptionist during owner-approved hours.
  • Qualify scope, location, timing, and contact preference; store the summary in the CRM.
  • Notify Sean immediately when a lead needs human follow-up.
  • Keep payment processing entirely out of this phase.

Better Biz can promise execution coverage, response time, technical quality, evidence, and transparent reporting.

Planning model

Project the funnel without pretending it is guaranteed.

Change the assumptions to match Sean’s real baseline. The model uses completed jobs for review growth and website traffic for lead flow.

2.2expected new reviews / month
10.0modeled website leads / month
3.0modeled booked jobs / month
36modeled booked jobs / year

Planning estimate only. Better Biz should replace assumptions with Search Console, Google profile, CRM, and call-event data after the first 30 days.

Launch blockers

Five answers needed from Sean.

1

Canonical business identity

Confirm the exact public business name, correct service-area or mailing address format, and whether the street address should be displayed at all.

2

Google profile ownership

Provide the direct Google Business Profile URL and manager access so we can verify reviews, category, hours, photos, and ownership without creating a duplicate.

3

Services and claims

Confirm which current service-page items are actively sold, the real service radius, coating-system language, warranties, and any license/insurance claims.

4

Photo and testimonial rights

Approve which website and Instagram projects can be reused publicly, and verify the Mario N. quote plus any other customer feedback before production.

5

Phone and messaging authority

Confirm ownership/portability of (657) 540-7576, desired call-routing hours, consent language, and A2P registration details before automation.

Recommended next decision

Approve the website direction, then verify the five owner facts.

The preview is complete enough for a design conversation. Production stays noindexed until Sean approves content, rights, and public business details.
